Kilwinning, Scotland is where our McFarlane roots are. Try as we might, we did not connect with any living McFarlane relatives in Scotland (this trip). The three 3rd cousins we encountered were from Annie (Ritchie) McFarlane's side of the family.
Here we are at our G G Grandparents, William and Mary (Banks) McFarlane's grave at Bridgend Cemetery in Kilwinning. Made from (soft) sandstone, the large marker is in urgent need of repair and uprighting.

I'm pleased you found the stone - I'm interested to know if it is the original stone, or if a later family member put it in.
